Poison
The beauty of the poison,
is it kills so valiantly,
it seeps through every pore,
and silently wipes away all signs of life...
So what poison will you bring to me,
in the form of love?
What trickery will you perform,
to send me far away,
I've seen your eyes,
I've seen the hate,
I do not trust them,
too much hate.
And I think,
that I'll survive,
if I run away forever,
but how can I,
run away,
from the drug that keeps me alive?
You have me caught,
hook, line and sinker,
too many times,
I've taken the poison,
too many times,
to find a cure.
is it kills so valiantly,
it seeps through every pore,
and silently wipes away all signs of life...
So what poison will you bring to me,
in the form of love?
What trickery will you perform,
to send me far away,
I've seen your eyes,
I've seen the hate,
I do not trust them,
too much hate.
And I think,
that I'll survive,
if I run away forever,
but how can I,
run away,
from the drug that keeps me alive?
You have me caught,
hook, line and sinker,
too many times,
I've taken the poison,
too many times,
to find a cure.
