These bones are runes -
Inscribed with eternal demands:

Circumscribing the heart

Which pumps blood
Enlivened with death,

Released
In
Ringlets of thought.

What was Edenic
Becomes Odinic

As we hang from trees
To see � To see�

Life is a will to vision,
Through mazes

Of

Darkness � Amassed
In Amaze

Awe,

Written on the soul -
Like calligraphy

Author's Note

There is a painting on my wall of a dragon, painted by a dear friend of mine.

I was looking at it...

And thought to write something about it, or prompted by it.

I had no idea where to go with it.

I went to the porch and paced like a madman
for a brief moment...

And then I saw it...

Only...

As I wrote, the piece swerved.

But I always do what feels right.
