Waiting For Direction

God’s time, not mine.
My logic is so limited.
I see from a cell’s perspective.
One cell,
One nucleus
Amidst so many points of life.

God view I can never have,
Not in this life.
I need daily direction
To recalibrate my dysfunctions,
My handicaps
So that I can gain strength,
Gain purpose.

Author's Note
When I write, I start out with a title and respond to it. I apply “God’s will, not mine, be done” to my daily practice and am ever aware of how small I am and how much I need help from the Powers That Be.  Still, turning it over gives me the light I need to keep going.  That’s just about the poem.  Then I went to GarageBand and tentatively fooled around.  I have little experience with the program and am just exploring.  Today I figured out how to make a YouTube video with just audio.  I’ve done some songwriting in the past and am now getting back into it along with spoken poetry.  So I’m new here and pretty new to a lot of stuff.  I hope you can get something out of what I make.  Peace!
