Chipping away
If we could turn into tomorrow
Then we'd be facing yesterday
And the cold wind blowing against my shoulder would just blow away
If we turn to one another
And let go things we want to say
We could brighten up the world around us that's so cold and grey
Every little day every little drip by drip
We keep chipping away chip by chip
Every little day every little drip by drip
We keep snipping away snip by snip
Let's not wait until tomorrow

We've still got each other
And that's all we've got to say
The sun brightens up the world around us when it's cold and grey

Your point and presentation is wonderful. It’s a simple truth that most want to pontificate upon but don’t want to actually do the work to acquire. I think your use of repetition is used in an excellent fashion because it reminds the reader of the point. Well written.
