The Difference is Going to be Me

Sometimes, I let things turn out wrong when I know what's right
Sometimes, I'm just to weak to put up much of a fight
Sometimes, the days just last seem to drag on forever
Sometimes, I give up on every single endeavor

But today, It's not going to be that way
Today, I brought my “A” game and I came to play
Today, I'm going to roll up my t-shirt sleeves
If you don't like it, you can just take your ball and leave

The difference... this time, is going to be me

Some days, I just fold my cards and let them win
Some days, It's easier to just give in, though it might be a sin
Some days, I blame it all on luck
Some days, It's that I just don't give a fuck

But today, I'm going to blow them all away
Today, I brought my “A” game and I'm ready to play
Today, I put my game jersey on
If you don't like it you can just be gone

I'm done with that, it's going to be something
They say, bullies always win over the little guy
I say, punch them in the nose and watch them run and cry

Today, I put my all-star jersey on

But no ones getting a free pass
