Poetry of Time/Time of Poetry
“Psychologically time is seldom homogenous but rather is as full of shapes as space.” - Robert Grudin
Poetry of Time/Time of Poetry
The pen moves smooth
From time
After
Time
Of reason and rhyme
Inscribed in the operations of a scribe
Of supernal vibes
To be imbibed
By the gods on their clouds
Shrouded in shrouds
Veiled
In
Veils
Allowing the Heavens and Hells
To be dwelled
For reasons that know
No
Reason
Other than
The
Divine
Written in seasons
As each piece
Written
Transitions
To
Timelessness
To be transferred from perception to perception
Consciousness
To
Consciousness

Inspired by the book “Time and the Art of Living” by Robert Grudin. Tis a highly thought provoking read.
The book is broken into what I think of as windows or vistas, comprised of duality spectrums of observation, as the author seeks to understand and convey this understanding of "the dimension of time".
In the window, which inspired this piece, the author views time as a "mechanism through which moments are homogenized", equating freedom to one's perspective of this process.
For example cigarettes to black lungs or beautiful moments to love.
This inspired thoughts of Poetry,
how each poem is a very special form of such a homogenization.
How each poem from each Poet/ess is sacred...
I propose that Poetry is a distinct form of time.
Perhaps even something that exists
both in time and in timelessness, which is...
Way heavy.
Thinking of how this might be applied
to future poetic endeavors.
All writing remains the property of the author. Don't use it for any purpose without their permission.
