we are all looking for
something
trying to find
something
for some it's love
some have tried many
times to find love
and have
failed
failed so badly that love
now smells of rotting
fish on an
empty
pier
others look for solitude
solitude from chaos
solitude from the
world
solitude from others
solitude from others
looking incipiently
for love
solitude:
like a cold splash of
water on your face
to wake you from
some terrible dream
on a fevered
night
we are all looking for
something
trying to find
something
something to make
our lives right,
give it all
meaning
better to take a
pill
go mole hunting
play Russian roulette
with all the
chambers
filled

The depth and intrinsic potency of desire blooms heady, bk. To find what it is that we each "heart's desire" to find, rings so loudly within me....It's basically what almost all of my poetry is probably based on, when it comes down to it... lol ... Your keen mind cleverly conveys an abundance of emotional observation, the formulation of which, is staggering, in it's brilliant display on the page....

bk, you really bring something intriguing your piece. Not only is it relatable but it makes us question what we're looking for (for those who haven't found it), and it also takes us to the edge of our sanity (especially with those closing lines).
