Dear SL,
This poem to me, reminds me when I see people in the subway station I can’t help but wonder and hope they’re protected. Not that they need me to hope this.
I have great admiration for the power and conviction of their speeches and passion. I’m sure I misunderstood your intended meaning but this poem so clearly called to mind my experience with NYC mass transit. Great write.
