Blind

Song bird song bird
Seeing me safe
All through the night
In sober sleep
I creeped about
And wondered where I'd die

But nonetheless I took a chance
And when I woke alight
I knew of him
Of born of bred

I'd be back home some night

But time is slow and here I stay
Just waiting to take flight
The bravery to face my kin
And make a wrong
Just right

Enough

Just right
Just right
To hold a hand that led
In unpredictablie night
Fed is the Icarus we wed

Forgive
I am still a child
Be kind
Be kind
Love as much as you did
Forgive me father
I was blind.

Author's Note
Awaiting when I'm allowed back into your house. It may never come, and that is fine. We never got along anyway. Would have liked a fist to fist like the last time. This one seems more permanent. Take care old man.
