Heart Flickers

Passenger sang of many little lights
Dazzling stars in our hearts
Said how love ignites flames so bright
That fade away when love departs.
Well, Love, my heart still smolders faintly
Hoping my candle yet flickers and burns
In you. More, I wish that it might be
Able to expand and one day returns
In waves of light, love and affection
Filling my heart and soul once again
