Phoenix
Build it back up from the rubble
Stronger than before
Build it back up from the rubble
Into something I can't destroy
Pain and the suffering
Tears and the blood
The foundation for something
That must be reborn.
Just as the Phoenix flies
So shall I
Higher than the mountains
That try to knock me down
I hear them coming, the foot steps in line
Voices are whispering you won't survive
Calling my name but I can't be found
Finding my pieces scattered all around
Just as the Phoenix flies
So shall I
Higher than the mountains
That try to knock me down
Constantly yearning for something
That's burning inside of me.
I am my own hero.
I'm not backing down.
Stronger than before
Build it back up from the rubble
Into something I can't destroy
Pain and the suffering
Tears and the blood
The foundation for something
That must be reborn.
Just as the Phoenix flies
So shall I
Higher than the mountains
That try to knock me down
I hear them coming, the foot steps in line
Voices are whispering you won't survive
Calling my name but I can't be found
Finding my pieces scattered all around
Just as the Phoenix flies
So shall I
Higher than the mountains
That try to knock me down
Constantly yearning for something
That's burning inside of me.
I am my own hero.
I'm not backing down.
