Re. Lost in Vapor
In the end, everything is real in one way or another. So perhaps one should just inhale the vapors and get high; feel everything, the strong attraction and companionship, and whatever else they choose to immerse themselves in. Lust and obsession can be found in so many things. The computer is one doorway into that realm but when it freezes, damn is that frustrating. lol We all need a reboot at time though... Crush, sex, and lust are essential in life. ;) Great write.

Orgasm in 1s and 2s. We are all just numbers until our minds go blank and then reset, finding humanity for a few cherished moments.

Hey PS
Putting this out there.
Just be glad we are no longer using dial up internet.
Just sayin'
You should find a great deal this time of year. Splurge on yourself and get
a new computer. Nothing like being in the moment and having a crash.
Have a great day amigo:)

Yo Hot Sauce 🔥
If it were up to me we'd all still be using rotary phones
Yeah old school dog and hanging tough
You'll be proud of me though I just bought the latest Apple AirPods Pro
Tuning out the world
Those pods kick ass
Thx A

Shorts the hardware...or hardware in the shorts?
The image caused a visceral, irrational reaction--I laughed, once, for reasons I didn't understand.
The poem progresses by what Olson called "observation"--from one to the next, not sensory, but rather steps of cognition, meant to register the world around the speaker.
We, the reader, see the lines, and project ourselves into the world.
The narrative, of course, coheres for us, with the solidification (pun intended) of the speaker.
Until--Ironically? Un-ironically?--the psycho-physical experience of building sexual tension shorts the hardware.
Oh my.
Enjoyed.

Formatting poems certainly takes them to a different mind level.
I do like the cadence of the underscore. Gives it kind of a commanding graphic effect.
This feels like a PARSONS AWARD
BIG LIKE
THANKS MARK
