we had seeded in view of our guest � �
bedroom window and an olive � �
tree that has listened to every evocation � �
sent unto infinity � �

these eyes then looked to the sun as � �
it slowly vanishes into the secrets held � �
by earth for over 4.5 billion years � �

and in the background my ears hear � �
ambient crackling wood gone white, I � �
am many fragile evenings gathered � �
in years, months, days, hours, decimal � �
seconds, existing in thoughtfulness: � �

a thousand acoustic heartstrings says � �
�conquer me" and you ..yes you broke � �
open the bone of my chest; licked � �
wounds thereof, and as though an � �
borderless epistolary you nestled against � �
my ribs � �

you taught me how to play chess on � �
the backs of shooting stars � �
defying gravity and sorrows; my veins � �
would become your ever-permanent � �
twill scarf � �

you've gracefully walk amongst my � �
inland, lighting tiny bonfires with full � �
intent on spooning against a dying � �
heart, making ichor spill hot � �

Per sensual capital, I'll never forget all � �
things you spoke, even moreso showed me; � �
