The light surface
leads to a black hole,
a darkened soul
and something
so out of control
it uses the light
to swallow you whole,
and yet you long
to touch it.

Like moths to a flame, finding the fire fueled by our souls. Burning for love, we are consumed by the pyre. How many times I've risen from my own ashed, let me count the ways.

As they say, nothing escapes a black hole, so it's best to watch from afar, but those who long to be near or touch...hmm, it's a far more dangerous / painful than we can imagine.
