Fallen Angel
She has the hair of an Angel
and the devil in her eyes.
All of hell weeps for her
when she hangs her head
and sighs.
Stripped of her wings
and the halo she once
wore. Damned to roam
the earth, condemned
forevermore.
As long as I breath she will
never come to harm,
I’ll take that fallen angel
and wrap her safely in
my arms.
