Random Rambling - Diary entry

I don’t understand this world. It seems so strange to me. Everything is never as it should be. Wars, famine, economic collapse, diseases and corruption. Why? Why is it so difficult to just live and let live? Why is it so difficult to accept death when your time has come? You can’t live forever, and I don’t understand the people who’d like to. Why? You’ll only see everything wither away and die around you. Just do what you have to do in this life and die like a decent human being when your old, senile and useless. Or is that wrong for me to say? Did I hurt someone’s feelings? Was I to harsh?

As I’ve said a million times before. Nothing lasts forever. If you accept that reality, than nothing has any meaning or everything contains a bit of meaning. It can only have value when we want it to. So nothing has value without us humans declaring it’s value. And when supported by the collective, that value can be used to determine other values. Just like any culture, we humans decide what’s right or wrong. We decide what is acceptable and what’s not. So how can we judge someone else’s morals and values? We can’t. Their collective understanding determined their value a long time ago. So did we. That’s a base for war. You have strange or wrong values, kill him. You wear different clothing than us, kill him. You have more value than us, kill him. Are we really that thick? Are we really so evil? I think we are.

Maybe a real pandemic would do this world allot of good. Not that this one is not terrible, but it could be allot worse. A few million people less on this planet would be a blessing for our climate, resources and food supplies. And a disease is not racist nor picky. Everybody has equal chance of dying from it. Yes, poor people will die faster than rich people. That is a given. But we need a stable supply of humans to consume products and keep the economy going. Just enough will suffice. So the rich would need to spend their wealth on the middleclass and the poor, that still live, to give them enough consumers to keep their factories going. A delicate balance. And we need poor people to scare the middleclass what happens when they don’t obey the rules set for them. Everything is connected and everything is relevant, as long as we give it value and worth. If we don’t, than it will all collapse in just a few years. This is not an utopia we live in.
