Paper Doll

Torn into a million pieces
cast on a lonely breeze
the shredded paper doll wafted into oblivion
where she was no longer seen or heard.

Dying from pain and neglect
she spiraled into a pit of despair
her heart jaded and broken
wearing her heart upon her sleeve.

After years of torture and wear
the lonely paper doll
decided her torn existence was her's to repair
so she taped herself together piece by piece.

Stood firmly against the turmultous wind
that sought to blow her away
said with a mighty roar
i'm no longer your paper doll to be blown to pieces.

Be gone now before I get vicious!!!
