Dealing in Dark Ideals

Those
Million little pieces

Lit up
In
Festival lights

Deceased -

On
That night,

That dark – stark night;

Heartbreak,

It was called,

Where you
Fell

Just so you

Could

Fall.

But there is pro and contra to all,
As I watch the darkening

Moving

Like…

An ellipse of eclipse.

Now you know the void
written in the language of a different I,

So… Cold

These things we cannot avoid -
In a world

That is born to

Die.

But if be here we must,
Just trust

Your self to be

Heart felt devoured,
Empowered

As

That which can be broken
Will be broken

But

The broken cannot be broken…  At all

The broken are:

Immortal

Author's Note
I was thinking of the quest to never hurt again,
which, in my mind, seemed like the quest for Eldorado
or the fountain of youth...

Or... Like the decision to become a member of the undead.

I was telling someone that heart break is glorious and empowering,
how accessing the void is liberating, how it gives the potential of being impervious.
