Raphium Series~the reckoning

 
solemnly I enter the cosmic corridor
a sacred place where no words are spoken
a mind to mind contact of vast civilizations

a wrinkle then a time warp
faster than the speed of light thoughts travel
a journey of discovery ensues
through time and wormholes we rise

I plead my case before the celestial council
"the humans are still in their infancy
technology may be their undoing"

I ascend the ranks of societies
"greetings lovely one
speak to us of your travels"

"I've been surveying our newlings
they are doing well
the universes are turning"

sage voices rise in unison
"the humans will be closely observed
they will not enter into an understanding with us
until they learn to fear
arrogance will be bled out"

in the reaping there will be truth
in the harvest of soul
