Once Before

I swear this has all happened before
Every step in this life feels as if it's an echo from another
It was another set of hands following me through the cycles
Chasing each other through the life forces we can experience
Over and over again we would do this dance
The hunt of finding the place beside the other
But souls wear down the longer they exist in this space
They break down and become something else, something new
And there are moments in this life that don't feel right
That I am not where I should be this time around
