the Moon, Earth's companion, is high in the sky
two hours to moonset with Sun riding high
into a blue heaven now over my head
where Sun and the Moon seem to have sped...

the Earth keeps rotating while in the embrace
of the Sun which is moving, on through deep space
galactic inclusion, around and along
Forever's the ocean in which we belong...

twisting and weaving, spiraling too
the Earth and the Moon with me and with you
dancing like Shiva eternally
no end or beginning that we can see...

waking when dying, death while awake
life after life, it's here we can make
life beyond living here on the Earth
somewhere transcending physical birth...

two hours to moonset, the start of the day
sunbeams keep bouncing in ray after ray
this could be the ending, or maybe the start
we're still together when we are apart...
