Hubris and a love of poetry is a dangerous combination that creates great prose. Is your writing great? Time will tell, all I know is that my little poems will never be considered great. You create, I emulate and I'm honest enough to know the difference. Hugs

I wouldn't say my poetry is great but it's an honest approach to matters of state.  My style is direct and unflinching.   I think I get respect and some hate for good measure.

I am just your rat in a maze.
Perhaps you will deputize me.
But that's just so you give me orders.
As you play with me leading the way.
Clean up on aisle 13 in the chamber.
But you want me as dirty as possible.
Drowning in extreme vodka and...
Blood orgies.

I have a mistress who turned me on to extreme alcohol.
Never been the same since.  I mix them all together to make Chamber swill.  Clothes fall over and beatings commence.  
I'm a sick fuck with a large poetry ego.  You fit right in.
A fallen from grace pain slut of major proportions.
You thrill me

The holidays bring the good in people.  Keep on writing.
