light rain makes a rainbow feast
for the senses and the mind-
early morning, time to find

motivation, day begins
with Monday driving's traffic dins
flowing by while on the way
as time unfolds to slip away

like the beating of a heart
always we are at the start
of another tick-tick-tock
every morning we unlock

newfound opportunity
to be a better you or me
to evolve, to become
enraptured by the golden Sun

appearing in a golden sky
refracting in the rain nearby -
a rainbow's tantalizing sight
