Leave Nothing Undone
As I gazed at her naked form,
my conscience whispered,
“In our few remaining days,
we’ll not be condemned for what we did,
but those things left undone.”
I answered, “And so, my morally bankrupt friend,
let us leave nothing undone.”
I thought of that earlier conversation as I viewed her sleeping,
thankful for the pleasures we had shared and wondering
how many days we had remaining.

Today I learned of the death of a former love. Too young! I was thankful that we'd left nothing undone.

She slept the sleep of the satisfied
the 'morning after' our midnight ride,
too faraway to notice the sheets
were not covering her upfaced teats,
nor the bewitching bikini line
that I had eagerly claimed for mine,
her fair haired head to one side lying;
did she know soon she would be dying?

A look at the picture again suggests she left "plenty undone" (in form of her clothes being elsewhere than on herself) LOL.
