In The City Lights
Adrenalin
Rushing
With the city lights
A smile comes
Unbidden
To my face
And I know
That I am
Alive
Among the sea
Of faceless people
Where I cease
To be a freak
And become
Just one
In a crowd
Of diversity
Where it's okay
If i get lost
Or "lose my way"
In the wilderness
Of sky scrapers
And department stores
That will eat my purse
If i get to close
Past the strip clubs
Offering teasing delights
Where voyeurism
Is a prerequisite
And I'm tempted
To take a peek
