Her own destiny

She was a three-masted ship
Tall, elegant, Queen of the Seas.
She was made welcome and
Revered in every port
Her reputation somewhat blemished
By a drunken sailor or two
Who were mesmerized by the call
Of cheap wines of various sorts
And beauties in different  ports
Discreetly they were discarded
Along the way,
A few lost at sea, unfortuately
While all sorts of tempests
And crosswinds she faced,
No matter, she bravely continued
On the road to her destiny.
