We All Bleed Red
It's critically imperative
I start this narrative
by sharing this
Hatred stemmed from politics
World leaders that don't care a bit
People are fighting
and people are dying
Some don't care
Some are trying
To start a revolution
A revelation
An obligation
To save our nation
From generations
of humiliation and hatred
Skin color is skin deep
What you should be seeing is underneath
Deep down inside there's a precious heart that beats
A small pin prick on your fingertip
You'll see the blood that's shed
Black, white, gay, straight
We all bleed the color red
See division wasn't the vision
When we were created in God's image
So love your neighbor as yourself
Put all this hatred on a shelf
And remember what I said
When our hearts bleed
We all bleed red
