She let down the anchor

Depression sinks in,
Like an anchor plummeting to the depths of the sea.

Holding in place,
The ship that is me.

Maybe in a way she let down the anchor,
And in doing so that is what sank her.

I allowed myself to sink,
To the depths of depression.

Trying to recover,
Is like an obsession.

Desperate to find someone to stay.
When i start to sink.

Someone to help me realize,
I need to change the way that I think.
