Ice Skating On The Moon
Left the earth
on the onset
Tired of all the
blazing sunsets
Left one early
afternoon
Grabbed the
tallest ladder
Climbed higher
and higher
Grew darker
and darker
Looked up and
found my destiny
Now you'll find me
Ice skating on the moon
Falling stars
coasting beside me
drizzled little secrets
bearing a beaming clear
ice cracked dress
named and styled
as an ice empress
Never melting
with light blue
icicle veins
Sleek hair
moves like floating
iridescent shade
Eyes with pupils
shaped as snowflakes
Gliding on sharp
luminous blades
Shaving the frozen
moonlit glade
Keeping all the
frost inside
Gifting waterfall
ocean tides
The sun dims me away
Love the quiet
and here I glow
with a black drop
blanket as my beau
So I've decided
I'm gana stay
You won't find me
anytime soon
Now you'll only find me

I love watching ice skaters also, they do seem to float effortlessly for something that requires so much skill. The Olympics is absolutely amazing, they perform such amazing feats. I absolutely adore the cool imagery throughout this piece. As someone who loves the cold and night I could feel the ice and wind, the glow of the moon, and see the crystal blue. This really is such a serene and peaceful read. One I will definitely come back to.

So glad you enjoyed this. Winter is coming so I thought I'd celebrate it in some way. We have an ice skating ring that pops up in January. I have fallen and landed straight on my butt. LOL
It freaking hurt!!! Yet they make it looks so soft and beautiful with their flowy dresses and pinned hair. Just wanted to paint a picture
about it.

Wow i enjoyed this as a whimsical imaginative poem and as a moon lover i adored your moon mentions throughout. Ice skating on the moon sounds a creative idea. Kudos!!
