My Spider Web
He was stuck
in my spidery web
all his limbs were tied
by my glistening thread
The more he struggled
the tighter the silk
his skin turned white
white like cold milk
Terrified, he watched
me ravel him up
I pierced his neck
and put his blood in a cup
As if he had a choice
to be or not to be
such a silly phrase
to be my meal, was he
He was still alive
yet so close to death
“I loved you,” said I
and he took his last breath
in my spidery web
all his limbs were tied
by my glistening thread
The more he struggled
the tighter the silk
his skin turned white
white like cold milk
Terrified, he watched
me ravel him up
I pierced his neck
and put his blood in a cup
As if he had a choice
to be or not to be
such a silly phrase
to be my meal, was he
He was still alive
yet so close to death
“I loved you,” said I
and he took his last breath
