Yes, the Rothko concept has always fascinated me.
What are people willing to accept in abstraction that's not necessarily pretty but feeds them viscerally.  I like doing words with my painting.
Digital is a way to do things fast that would be hard to paint.  It's not totally satisfying from a real painting point of vie  but it's a way to communicate.  People didn't accept Digital photography in the beginning. Look where we are now.  They call Digital art mixed media now.  It's almost like the medium is hiding from itself  ...

This is fun--
the vaguely sexual, anthropomorphized image as space-form--
reminds me of HP Lovecraft, whose work and ideas have been making quite a comeback the past few years--
also, the idea of a "space" that's accessible from our reality--
This, Lovecraftian as a love poem--
The title reminds me a bit of the titles of dj shadow, aka the Subliminal Kid. He tends to get a lot of flack for his titles, but I tend to enjoy titles like these--
Overall, enjoyed!
