My Little "Diesel"

My little "dude," my little "diesel." Now but a shadow on
life's easel. Now waiting for the obituary of a small
little angel as I watch for the blinking star.

The other night when you told me you love me, I felt your
touch.  When I'm guilty of not doing you right. I'm sick
of all the lies. I'm sick of the heartache trying to steal
my dreams of memories and tell me every thing is
going to be alright.

From day one I have loved you. Now twilight is taking you
away. When I'm guilty of not doing you right as life's
curtain rains down and there is no encore. Not even one
person standing to hand you a rose.
