Air -
Vaporous cold.
Surreal stars
[asserted – exerted]
Effortless
in
excellence
There -
Righteous bold.
Aware
of
Eternity
turning
Effortlessly
O
To this feeling I feel
in
moments
[Fleeting – feeling]
Eternal:
It is now time -
Going in for the kill.

You had me at moonlight. Then you said stars and I was a goner. I’m transfixed by most things astral, stellar, astrological.
“ Effortless
in
excellence” I think there are no other definitions of the night sky so perfectly described as that phrase!
Nice twist at the end. Snapped me back to reality. I felt like interplanet Janet as I read this terrific poem. H🌷
