My Inspiration

Hey, I hope you are doing well.
I know we’ve drifted apart, enough to only be friends but with an awkward past.
But look... all I want to say is that I wish you the best.

From the bottom of my heart and with the removal of my own selfishness.
I really do wish you the best.
Just remember I’m your number one fan.


I was your significant other in the past but now I’m a spectator on the sidelines.
Don’t feel bad. Don’t feel weird.
As much as I am still emotionally attached, I understand boundaries.
Even though I have selfish thoughts, even though I want you so badly.
You are a human too and I can not treat you like you are some object that belongs to me.
You are my inspiration.
You give me hope.
You give me a reason to go out and do the things I did not do.


In our relationship, you helped me build confidence.
In the aftermath, I learned the beginnings of humility. I also obtained ambition.

The ambition to go to university and change my life for the better.
You’ve inspired me to finally look at myself and take care of myself.
Even though you’re with someone else now.
Rest assured that I do not want to interfere with your life.


Your happiness is all that matters to me.
I say this as a former partner, as a friend.
I love you, but I also need to understand you and your position.
I need to understand my flaws and my faults.
I need to be better than what I am and the breakup is giving me the courage and determination to do so.
As much as I miss you and still love you. I have to respect you and let you go.
