[2021] Stranger than Fiction
Wouldn't it be something IF
in a fit of mental anguish
temporary insanity, or whatever
the heat of the moment beckoned
she stabbed him with intent to kill
and he retaliated by strangling her
half-assed patched up his wound
rather than risk an emergency room visit
survived the drive home
only to further suffer from infection
hid from authorities out in the woods
where his parents knew he would be
yet, unaware of his concealed injury
or the crime he hadn't confessed to
they received no further contact from him
( which is how they later found their son
so quickly and effortlessly on their own )
and he died an agonizing death from sepsis
alone.
Wouldn't it be something IF
the media outlets had mistakenly
portrayed her as the only victim
throughout.
I guess we'll never know the truth
or be provided with anything else
to believe in other than the childlike
innocence of a young, blonde, and White
darling that the mainstream media
became infatuated with presenting
to the American public because . . .
Truth is stranger than fiction?
Or perhaps because
alternatives are inconceivable
due to the appearance
of who the "victim" was
