Aging Disgracefully
There's no sense in feeling rage
at the dramas of old age
acceptance is necessity
when your book has one more page
And let us not forget
we've still time to hedge our bets
a flutter on the afterlife
may help to soothe regrets
But if preaching from the pulpit
is not your cup of tea
it's still fun to mock good manners
by pretending old means free
at the dramas of old age
acceptance is necessity
when your book has one more page
And let us not forget
we've still time to hedge our bets
a flutter on the afterlife
may help to soothe regrets
But if preaching from the pulpit
is not your cup of tea
it's still fun to mock good manners
by pretending old means free
