Image for the poem Dark

Dark's Misdemeanors.

"Spooky as it sounds, ghosts live in my coffee grinder as the burrs become my insomnia, brewing my nightmares, staining my teeth. Giving rise to the dark's misdemeanors."

Time to chill wearing a coat of the underground six steps downs putting ice in my coffee with the many faces of Maybelline looking back at me in the mirror as I pout leaving lips stains. "Good to the last drop."

The first sign of caffeine addiction came when cappuccino made me snarly. Giving up my sugar for the taste of the dark bean. Starbucks became my second home. Forfeiting my godliness for the essence of the beans mascara.

Now they say that I am a little bit crazy for drinking it black without chrome. But!  Noone is fasting. Where have all the percolators gone? In mom's passing. They've gone to the recycle bin.
