Is Life A Death Sentence?
life is a
death sentence
for
the
aging
and
the
elderly
son
and
father
choosing
to
sit
in
the same
armchairs
every day
complaining
how hard life is
telling tedious stories
about
the
good
old
days
stories that
no one
cares to hear
again
not really listening
while
plotting their
next
tale of woe
seated
solidly in place
moaning about
self-imposed
infirmities
never venturing
beyond
walls
of
self-constructed
prisons
like two
spinsters
without the
flowers and
perfume
life is a
death sentence
for
those
waiting
to
die
instead of living
