Reverie

Reverie! Drifting on off
An aloof-er in a crowd

Won’t cut away from the root
Where nature meets humans

Greenness, oh forests cry
Freshness, decaying smell of foliage

Moistened earth, the first rains
The dews had touched the ground

Misty mornings sliced through
Through, by streaming sunlight

Birds’ chirps bird like
The ratty noise is rats

Nature poisoned mankind
With its beauty to admit his source

Reverie! Reminiscing on
Still aloof in a maddening city

Distress calls forcibly wakening
Inhuman domestics, traffic activities

Caste flooring, horn and mu-sick blasts
Illness, acrid admix of air pollutes

Dampened heat, vapory rains
Steams glaring off the ground

Man has seized to be man
Civilly invoked insanity

Nature is poisoned by mankind
Its beauty gone, away with the source

Reverie! Musing, long lost
Alien in the in-situ

Forced away from natured source
Found amid civility then crudity

Imitations! Man-made bushscape
Won’t like to inhale your airs around

When gift waters are disaster
And every erring will lives seize

Elites abject in civil poverty
The dull in illusory prospering spate

Natured world calls subtly……..
……… but livelihood had jailed a lot

Come son, Mother Nature beckons
Far, into the bush to nestle

And be away for a while
Fro ‘em city I detest so well

I’ll be gone for a while, I’ll be gone, forests deep
……there’s another world else where
