The validation this poem evokes is like manna from heaven. Sometimes  I wonder if I’ve imagined feelings when I’ve been upset and reading this says I didn’t. Pain is real big or small. I love the ratio of the impact the minimal poems can have on huge emotions. Wonderful piece. H🌷

I definitely appreciate exactly what you've described. I have always been overly sensitive and sometimes I've wondered if my deep intensity is just my own proclivity to feel pain as deeply as I do or plain over reaction.... (which I hate saying because we woman have always been stigmatized as 'hysterical' or as over reacting!)
I have slowly learned that my feelings are valid and true, regardless of how much I try to dismiss or diminish them. Yours, too... sweet lady!!

I am so grateful that you felt a connection here and enjoyed the minimalism. Your visits are always such a highlight that I continually look forward to!

It is astounding to me the remnants that are the sole evidence of a given thing,
which calls into question the very nature of the things we consider to be real.

I am a fan of The Doors and Jim Morrison.

I found this really well written biography of Morrison at a second hand book store.

There is this photo of him up in the rafters of a venue...  like a phantom of the opera...  :)))

but the caption read something like:

"Morrison watches the chaos he initiated,
as though awakening from a trance."

It was such a cool pic...  (let me see if I can find...  wow...  I can normally
find pics rather easily...  will try again)

but yes...  I think so many facets of existence are much like this,
for a variety of reasons...

I like the underlying truth(s) of this piece.
