The Past, Present and Future
I have seen you across
The desert sands of time
Where the bleached bones
Of the past lie exposed
And the mirages of the future
Try to lure me
With their illusions.
However -
I am saved by the Friend,
Reminding me that the present -
Which like the exact center
Of a wheel
Moves neither forward
Or backward -
And is therefore timeless.
And -
The only realty there is.
