listening to the poetic barista
with a serum of steam
from a little bean
dripping slowly
in my stone sarcophagus
of insomnia's nightmares
scarab beetles burrowing in my head
feeding on morning traces of blood
breaking every seam
starting to become a theme
crawling here and there
in my broken sarcophagus
of death

The sarcophagus used to be a good night of sleep. Now insomnia even disturbs the dead, still I enjoyed the black coffee and the scarab beetles are cute albeit they hurt until they hit the bone.

Hmmm I like the premise like its the Mummy's Curse coming to life, the scarab burrowing in the head lapping but morning blood...that was quite a chilling line I must say...the wordsmithing and connection between you two is quite resounding...really a fine collaboration of two dark minds ..Adagio I have become a huge fan of your work, and KristinaX I will need to read more...but what I really like is when a collaboration team can become a marriage of ideas...quite strong terror motif...Bravo 👏
