Just Faraway

Verse 1:
It always amazed me that people don't stay in one place anymore.
Never thought that came with a price to pay
But I never really had a choice to make.

Chorus:
And it would just brighten my day.
If your face would appear at my door.
But I know you're just faraway.
Yeah, you're just faraway.

Verse 2:
I go to visit you.
But I feel like a stranger there too.
You make and break promises in the same day.
Now there's no where I belong.
Because the places I've been placed in, seem to both fit me wrong.

Chorus:
And it would just brighten my day.
If your face would appear at my door.
But I know you're just faraway.
Yeah, you're just faraway.

Bridge:
It seems when you pull a lie from here to there.
It always hurt more
When you break it in thin air.

Chorus:
And it would just brighten my day.
If your face would appear at my door.
But I know you're just faraway.
Yeah, you're just faraway

Chorus (Reprise):
It always amazed me that people never stay in one place anymore.
Didn't know that came with a price to pay.
And it would just brighten my day
If your face would appear at my door.
But it helps to know you're just faraway.
Yeah, you're just faraway.
