Some of them
Can't ever fly,
Can't ever
Truly be free
Destined to be
Tethered, bound
To the dregs of
Banal reality
No more magic left
Be the needed
The invisible
Hand that holds
Unknown, ghost
Pen, cries tears
Cold, lonely sighs
Succumb to lies
Rip out that
Quivering heart
Shreds into
Red ribbons
Floating on
The matrix
Until the end
Close those
Wide eyes
This world
Ain't made
For you
