Plastic Jewel
I walk into a room
but there's no one there
each hour is too soon
inside a living nightmare ,
everyone I fool
I'm really not that cool
I'm a plastic jewel ,
at home
sat on the stairs .
I often wonder
where the days go
I stagger on this marble
that spins forever more ,
everyday I stumble
but soon I'm gonna fall ,
infinite commotion
is all I know for sure .
I look above me
swirling skies
hooked by tree's
motorised
at high speed
passers by
hold hands so free
within their lives of jollity ,
though I strive and I try
for some happy
whatever I find
then loses me
all my truths look like lies
accusingly
and the straight of lifeline
goes wobbly .
