I find Spring the best of seasons...it only gets better...btw I am a May child...lovely poem none the less....

I probably would enjoy spring a lot more if it weren't for the oppressive heat of FL for almost 8 months out of the year.... lol.... I bask in the reprieve fall offers.... I totally understand your reasonings, though... lovely time of the year as well, Lawrence!

...  Definitely my fav season.

This is my favorite time of the year... I am a creature of cosplay, so Halloween has always been my favorite holiday... Giving me yet another excuse to be in costume, Ohhh Hell yeah!!.... haha 😂.  
 
I appreciate your thoughtfulness and kind words, C. Fall in Florida is kind of a mixed bag... Sometimes the heat is still so oppressive all the way through to November... Yet I dream of my northern roots...  the colors, the smells and the crisp cool air that surrounded me on those Halloweens of years past ....Makes me want to drink apple cider and eat a cake donut!! .... hahahaha.

Dearest, Lady Blue! Fall is such a wonderful relief for me. I yearn for the crisp from May on. Your note is as poetic as your poem. This passage made me tingle, "From the changing smells and sights, to the heady nostalgia that washes over, leaving me lovingly on the cusp of tears" Your description of the colors most of which we don't see in Texas is beautiful and exciting.
