Dreams
we speak of past dreams
when we still chased after them
now times have changed
I say it's for the better
the journey has lead us here
not the ideal jobs
or the ideal home
roofs leaking
bodies are starting to gain reach
but it's you and me
taking on every hardship
smiling and laughing along the way
we still dream today
but those dreams have changed
it went from taking on the world
to taking hold of time
grasping every moment
as if it was our last
we still kiss and touch
loving as much as our hearts can take
sometimes I forget
there is a whole world outside
not as if that interest me
some say I've grown
I am a man now
but that is a lie
still very much a kid
just with an adult mind
as I look into your eyes
you get that
you get me
coudn't ask for a better partner
now as we grow older
we treasure every memory
for those pieces stick with us
and will until our last breath
to be human
and not some immortal beings
sucks, but it's nice to pretend
it will be like this
day after day
never fading

Yes, I am very grateful for having her. Not sure how my life would be if we never met. I probably would have a pretty bad outlook on life.

Haha yes, I can't speak highly enough of flex seal. I personally think I can fix the leak myself (yeah my roof is really leaking lol) but my wife wants a "professional". They can't come out till next week though so hopefully it won't rain.
