Luce 2

I was carried away on a whisper
Luce heard me on the aether
and said little one what have you done disturbing the restless spirits?

a game of chance perhaps, to quiet your wandering thoughts?

I answered no games should tempt me from my way
I queried where he'd been
he said walking in dream-time
I shivered inside myself
I'd seen his fearsome demeanor

I disturbed his reverie
imps of fear appeared
I saw them form in the shadows
then manifest in front of me
Luce smiled and said darling girl come to me
I saw the light in his eyes dim as I look on with defiance
come now Crim aren't we blood?
I challenge his gaze with fire in my look

I answer you left me
you left me on the field
called me to war
then left me flat

Luce, you're so intense
my body can barely take the force of your weight
I feel you on me as g forces
pulling on my soul so hard I think I might be pulled apart

I ask you awaken the mortals
the world is under a spell right now you know?
have you inspired this delusion?
reduced to a TV character
dismissed that easily

when will you reveal yourself?
or do you prefer the shadows?

a game of chance...no
I miss your jokes though
your sense of humor unparalleled
my brother walk and talk with me

spin the word then as you will
a metaphor is just an aborted thought
corrupt in the telling

Crim, in your need rise to greet me
no more meandering here and there
you know where I am should you require my presence
I've been dialing your number
just to hear a dead dial tone

Crim come back to me
