You’re the storm, and I’m the Murray Darling…

It’s been a long hard day, and I need you to lie here with me, beside a bonfire wrapped in the same blanket as the crashing waves roll in, with our fingers twined, and I’ve nothing on my mind but you, and the heat of your steady breath upon my face warms my heart as I lean into you, and nestle myself into your frame.  
   
Basking in the moment, as I long to hear your voice forever & always to know the things that weigh heavy upon your mind as I touch your 3 day salt & pepper growth upon your face, whilst you inhale the hint of my sweet surrender in the urgency of your kiss as you take my breath away.    
   
In your eyes, I find reflections of me as we create hallowed space for one another, whilst finding contentment in subtle moments that bind us as we explore ways to heal one another and build each other up, whilst working towards the same goal.    
   
Lets gaze at the stars, and forget about the days gone by as we carry one another into tomorrow, and my hands find there way underneath your hoodie as I lightly run my ombré glittered nails along your ribcage to ascertain whether the letters of my name are found upon them.    
   
The cage, that holds your heart as the letters of your name are the only letters found upon my lips as your fingers trace them, and the answers to all my questions are found in the way you pull me closer to you, to enable our love to take flight.    
   
Your heart is king, and your kisses were made for traversing my starry nights whilst mining my flesh to find treasures to keep etched upon your heart & soul, cherished moments found in simple things that keep us anchored to one another as we know found the holy grail, in the depth & blushing of our love.    
   
A love that transcends time & space whilst ever abiding, devout to serving one another and you make wine from my fears whilst I wipe away tears of joy as I hope to smudge the sadness the dwells upon your psyche.    
   
Knowing, that what’s mine is yours and my heart lives & breathes for you as we break barriers, and explore boundaries, and I watch the way you establish lines to keep me on task as you carry me home, and we fall into the softness of one another as I carry your heart, within mine.    
   
And when you close your eyes, and feel a soft breeze gently colliding upon your face, just know that it carries the kisses I’ve blown to you in the hope that they find you, whilst you’re on your daily walk throughout your day.
