Every Road Leads Somewhere
Someone asked where I was going?
How could I tell them without knowing?
Cause everyday is a moment to share
And every road leads somewhere
No destination, don't need a spot on a map
No expectations, not going to fall into that trap
The world is a big place, so much to explore
So many possibilities, to many to ignore
I might end up sky diving
Or I might spend the whole day driving
I might ride a horse along the beach
Or I might just end up someplace no one can reach
Cause everyday is a moment to share
And every road leads somewhere
I guess I'll know when I get there
I haven't a moment to spare

Adventure and travel is what makes life worth living, aside from family, if you’re fortunate to have a decent one.
To gaze upon places, and find the awe of such whilst discovering new places, food and different cultures is a beautiful thing.
I can certainly resonate with your mantra…🎩

That's the one thing the kids hold important nowadays that I agree with them on. Experiences are high on their list of priorities. Still, having something to come home to is still important to me.

I'm definitely a beach person, and I do ride, and while I love the image the scene paints, I've actually never really wanted to do it. If I happened upon a ranch on a beach I'd probably try it though.

Invoked my lust for impulsive travel again. I used to do a lot, nowadays it's too planned. Maybe I should call an airline to book a ticket (old school) to "anywhere but here" and commit to whatever the person in the call centre first suggests. Once there only rely on locals advice, no guide books allowed

Every once in awhile we go for a drive. No directions planned. we usually stay in our state (wandering Indiana used to be our motto) but we've been known to end up at a rib joint in Louisville, or a artist town of Berea, both in Kentucky. We've ended up in Indiana, Pennsylvania, birth place of Jimmy Stewart. One thing about those trips I never worry on them.
